This is the personal blog of Game Developer/Publisher Newt Newport, resident of the metropolitan district of Oldham, specifically the old mill town of Royton.

It’s all very 2010s, but the blog archives stretch back to a LiveJournal that I started in July 2000 and migrated through a series of self hosted WordPress, until I decided to let someone else do the hosting and maintenance of the software and came to the mighty WordPress.com.

I own and run a small tabletop games company called D101 Games (because D101 is one more than D100, right?) and I’m a work from home dad, looking after various family members, three cats and a dog.  I will discuss these things and offer insights into life, as well as posting “daft shit”.
